Logistics Fleet

Dalkeith Transport have a modern, up to date fleet consisting of 47 vehicles and 100 trailers taking pallets of freight and general haulage freight throughout Scotland and the UK. These vehicles range from 7.5 Ton vans, through 18 Tonne Rigid Body vehicles, right up to articulated vehicles with tractor/trailer units. These include both 12 metre single deck and 13.6 metre double deck trailer units. As a result of this Dalkeith Transport & Storage Co Ltd can be flexible, depending on what our client’s individual requirements are. Please contact us to discuss your logistics and freight needs.

We have tractor units in both 38 and 44 tonne size and these are used with whichever trailer unit best fits the needs of the freight and our clients.

We also utilize 17 and 18 Tonne Rigid body curtainsided (Class C) vehicles with tails lifts where required.

We have night trunks using 44 tonne tractor units and 13.6 metre double height trailer units, which run nightly 5 times as week, both between our depots and also down to pick up and deliver freight at the main Palletways hub at Lichfield in Birmingham. This allows us to ensure that your goods get to their destination on time, all the time.

Quarter, Half and Full pallets and pallet loads,
Timed delivery, Next Day Delivery, Economy (2-3 day Delivery), Morning next Day (prior to 10.30 am delivery), Saturday Delivery.

Fleet Maintenance and Repair

From our depot in Newtongrange we repair and maintain our existing fleet, numbering in 47 vehicles and 100 trailers. Our technicians are all skilled and experienced over a variety of vehicles.
