Edinburgh haulier Dalkeith Transport says modernising its finance administration process earler this year has already saved it £6k in associated costs.
The Palletforce member has installed Manpack 3 e-invoicing and POD software from Mandata, which has enabled it to email customer invoices and statements instantly.
Astrid McKirdy, financial controller at Dalkeith says ” since having Manpack 3 POD and e-invoicing in operation we have saved £5,000 to £6000 on our postage and stationery costs, meaning the software has paid for itself within the first year”
Dalkeith moved from Palletways to Palletforce at the start of 2010. It runs 47 vehicles and 100 trailers.
