Dalkeith Pallet Transport Network for Scotland & UK

With 60 years of history, starting with our company formation in 1948, Dalkeith Transport & Storage Co Ltd, have a long established tradition of on time delivery of your freight and goods within Scotland and the UK.

From our five depots (Newtongrange, by Edinburgh, Broxburn, Auchterarder, Cumbernauld and Dumfries) we can offer timed delivery, next day or any other delivery combination to suit your requirements. We deliver and pick up palletised freight and goods throughout Scotland, including to the Scottish Highlands and Islands. We provide first class logistics solutions to meet your requirements.

We have a modern, up to date fleet consisting of circa 47 vehicles and 100 trailers taking pallets of freight and general haulage freight throughout Scotland and the UK. These vehicles range from 7.5 Ton vans, through 18 Tonne Rigid Body vehicles, right up to articulated vehicles with tractor/trailer units. These range up to 12 metre single deck and 13.6 metre double deck trailer units. As a company, we can pick up and deliver to suit our clients requirements, within reason, and using the Palletways network, we can pick up and/or deliver anywhere within the UK and/or Ireland.

We have night trunks (using articulated vehicles with double deck 13.6 metre trailers) to give us the capacity to have your goods onsite for early morning delivery throughout the UK using the Palletways network and hub system. Dalkeith Transport & Storage Co Ltd have night trunks running from each of our depots, both between the depots and down to the main Palletways hub in Birmingham, at Lichfield.

We also have over 230,000 sq ft of internal and external warehousing and storage facilities available. Certain Warehouse facilities within the company can also now undertake Pick and Pack Warehouse Operations and Storage, including offloading from containers.
